Fees for House call Services

Fees are due at the time of service.

The approximate fees for a house call are as follows:

Call fee:  This fee is in addition to the examination fee and is determined by travel time and the unfortunate gas prices.   The following are pproximations.  Mileage determined by Mapquest for some areas not listed.

$20 to $30 in Westlake Village

$30 to $35 for Newbury Park, Agoura

$65 for Camarillo, Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Simi Valley

$90 for Oxnard, Ventura, Malibu

The examination fee depends on the type of evaluation.  A holistic evaluation takes at least an hour and includes evaluation for homeopathic or herbal remedy done between sessions.

Examination fee:

$45 General examination (for vaccinations, wellness checkups and general practice complaints)

$55 First Chiropractic examination and evaluation

$150 Comprehensive holistic evaluation which includes review of the Western medical case (medical records, blood work, etc.), history and physical examination and analysis for herbs or homeopathic treatment. 

Recheck examination $35

$45 acupuncture

$75 electro-acupuncture

$45 Follow-up chiropractic adjustment for established patients

A holistic evaluation tends to take more time as the interview process to determine the pattern of disharmony is lengthy compared to the typical questions encountered when your pet is not well.   

How many treatments will my pet need?   Speed of recovery is dependent on many factors such as the age of the animal (younger animals tend to recover the fastest), the length of time a condition has been present, the general health of the animals, the extent to which tissues have been irreversibly damaged and the commitment and cooperation of a dedicated guardian.  One should commit to at least 3 or 4 treatments to see the benefits of acupuncture and chiropractic.  Some pets with chronic, degenerative diseases may need continued treatments based on their needs.  Remember, if it took years to get to a certain state, recovery will take time.

Herbs, remedies, medications, blood work and procedures are additional.
